WELCOME TO THE FRONTLINE BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE!
The Front Line Bootcamp Challenge is a three week commitment to band together with other men to go into strict training to strengthen your ability to deny yourself to take on the hills God has called you to as Real Man.

THE GOAL OF THIS BLOG is to create a gathering and feedback point to band together with other men in this challenge by posting the outcome, challenges and what you learned in your weekly challenge.

Your Own Idea

The Challenge

Make up your own challenges each day or each week using your own ideas or any part of the Action Plans listed. The goal is to develope our ability to deny ourseleves so that we might band together with other men so that we might be man, husband, friend, father, son God has called us to be!

Why Call It Front Line Bootcamp

This challenge is called “Front Line” Boot Camp because what we’re doing is not practice or pre-game disciplines - they are real life action steps that are part of making an impact on others and yourself.

Maximizing Your Experience

Reporting weekly will maximize your success and focus in this challenge. If you are unable to participate in one of the three options in Banding Together with other men may want to journal your success, challenges, and insights of what you did.

Why You Can't Tell Anyone

It is vital that no one knows about your commitment to do this other than those you are banding together with. Our commitment is not about good intentions, but rather about action. At the end of the three weeks you are free to tell anyone you want about what you did. In fact, it is our hope that other men will catch the vision of banding together to strengthen their ability to take the hills and live the legacy God has given them to live and be the friend, father, spouse or son God has called them to be!

How to Band Together with Other Men

There are three ways to band together with other men for this mission.
1) Join a group of friends here at the Real Man weekend, at home or in your Growth Group and set up a regular meeting or email time to report back how you’re doing. You may want to set up a cash accountability system to heighten the commitment to follow through on the task.

2)Report weekly on this Band of Brothers Blog Spot - www.bandofbrothersncc.blogspot.com. If you sign up for the Front Line Boot Camp you will receive an email invitation to contribute to the Blog. If would like to participate in this way, accept the invitation. You will then be asked to create an account – it’s easy and will take just a moment to do. As you accomplish your task you can post your results on the corresponding task. The blog is not viewable to the public and will only be able to be accessed by those receiving an invitation

3)Join us for the Band of Brothers Debrief Breakfast on Saturday, November 10 7-8:30 AM.

MEDIA FAST

The Challenge

This week’s challenge is about developing the ability to limit certain kinds of input in our lives. For five out of seven days this week go on a media fast. No audio or visual electronic entertainment. (TV, video, dvd, video games, internet, music, or radio.) Obviously exceptions can be made for any resources needed in your job.
